People Analyst

EA’s People Analytics team is seeking a skilled and experienced data warehouse engineer/architect to assist our People Analytics Team in building a robust and centralized data infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our People Data Warehouse to support key decision making in talent management and organizational effectiveness.
Goals & Responsibilities:
- Develop a data scalable data warehouse infrastructure for the People Analytics team in collaboration with the team
- Build sustainable ETL pipelines from multiple decentralized People Data sources including Visier, Glint, Workday, SuccessFactors, ATS/Recruiting, Betterworks (Goals), Cornerstone (Learning Management System), etc. and ensure data integrity.
- Build out appropriate documentation of architecture, ETL processes and data lineage for future reference.
- Understand and align with EA’s security and privacy agreements and implement robust and compliant security and privacy projections within the data warehouse infrastructure.
- Successfully partner and collaborate cross functionally with People Experience Technology and IT to reach these goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud-based data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks Google BigQuery, or Amazon Redshif t.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing data warehouse solutions, preferably in a HR/People Analytics context.
- Knowledge of data governance best practices and compliance requirements.
- Expertise in ETL tools and processes, such as Informatica, Talend, Alteryx, or similar.
- Proficiency in data modeling concepts including dimensional modeling and star schema.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation (Data Wrangling, Numpy, Pandas, MatPlotLib and Seaborn)
- Familiarity with Alteryx or other visual query language or software.
- Strong creative problem solving and communication skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
