Part-Time Administrative Assistant

CTRL-labs is developing a wearable neural interface for the wrist/forearm that allows creators to build revolutionary new experiences and applications in VR/AR, gaming, robotics, health, productivity, and more. We are currently looking for a part-time (~20 hours/week, with potential for growth) administrative assistant to help the Office Manager and Operations Team in making the office a pleasant, well-stocked, enjoyable place to work.
Responsibilities
- Welcome office guests and connect them with the person/people they're meeting
- Receive and sign for deliveries from UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc., then distribute the parcels to the team
- Place our weekly grocery order and be on hand to receive it and put it away
- Take ownership of kitchen snack inventory -- keep an eye on food levels and order more when we're running low
- Organize and track our office supplies inventory, and order more as needed
- Organize and manage IT room and its inventory, and assist people with locating what they're looking for
- Work actively to help keep office neat and clean (e.g. tidying messes when you see them)
- Assist EA and Office Manager with ordering food for office events (lunches, birthdays, social hours, etc.), and setting up/clearing up as needed
- Run occasional errands in the city
- Other assorted administrative tasks
Requirements
- 1-3 years professional administrative experience in an office environment
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong organizational skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to triage/prioritize tasks
- Comfortable pivoting quickly from one task to another as needed
- Friendly, positive demeanor
- Ability to bend down and to lift/carry 30-40 lbs
