Paralegal
THE POSITION
Miniclip is looking to hire a Paralegal to join the Legal team in our London (UK) Office. Th is is an ideal role for someone who has recently finished their LPC and is looking to gain an unrivalled in-house paralegal experience for the next couple of years.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
This is an outstanding opportunity to further your legal career and be part of a dynamic legal team which undertakes a varied workload. Your main responsibility will be to work directly with the current Miniclip solicitors to administer and support the work of a busy in-house legal department.
The work undertaken by Miniclip’s in-house legal department is wide-ranging and interesting; we regularly advise on intellectual property registration and enforcement, commercial contracts, including game licences, general corporate work, commercial property and much more.
You will be exposed and involved in a diverse range of tasks, including:
- Maintaining an active IP enforcement process across a variety of platforms;
- Working closely with multiple Miniclip teams ( C ommercial, F inance, A dvertising, P roduct teams) on their day to day legal needs;
- Managing the Legal team’s current matters list;
- Arranging for the execution of contracts and providing summary updates to the necessary departments;
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements, third party contracts and terms and conditions;
- Drafting internal policies and guidelines for our group;
- Assisting with general legal and corporate administration;
- Assisting our Data Protection Officer with compliance audits and implementation projects; and
- Dealing with ad hoc queries, including contract interpretation and legal research.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, confident and hard-working individual, with a can-do attitude, who enjoys working in a team and is looking for an opportunity to gain commercial legal experience in an exciting, fast growing industry. Ideally, they will have a particular interest , and experience , in IP law and the games industry.
Candidates should have the ability to take ownership of projects independently, juggle competing workstreams and be able to present their advice with clarity and confidence.
This opportunity will suit a candidate who has the following key skills and/or qualifications:
- Law degree (or equivalent GDL degree) and LPC
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Inquisitive mind with a desire to learn
