Sansar provides a canvas for anyone to create any virtual world they can imagine, and experience that world in virtual reality with people across the world.
Primary Function
We are looking for a proactive, responsible and enthusiastic Office Coordinator to join our team in our San Francisco headquarters. You will be an integral part of our team and will support the day to day functions of our office, ensuring that we are a happy and productive workplace.
What you’ll do:
Reception Duties:
- Be the face of our Battery office headquarters - welcome employees, candidates, and visitors warmly and efficiently
- Administer check-in process for all visitors
- Send & distribute all incoming/outgoing packages and mail for all staff
Office Coordinator Duties:
- Keep office and conference rooms clean, tidy and free of clutter
- Make sure our hungry employees are well fed!
- Manage inventory of office supplies, purchasing and restocking office supplies and equipment
- Be the champion of office culture: planning and executing office morale events, including holiday party, team building activities, happy hours, etc.
- Provide occasional backup support for others of the Admin team when needed
Recruiting Duties:
- Provide recruiting coordination assistance to the Recruiting Manager
- Schedule interviews and send internal and external communications
- Responsible for the day of execution of interview; prepare conference rooms and necessary technology for interview
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm with occasional after hours for events
What you have:
- Attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Responsible, ethical, and enthusiastic.
- Ability to independently prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Ability to safely lift 25 lbs.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic training and experience.
- 1-2 years of evolving office coordinator / administrative assistant experience
- Customer service or event planning experience is a plus
