Office 365 Senior Engineer - Remote

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer seeking to progress to the next level in their career. This role is 100% remote working.

This is a global IT position in a 10,000-user environment. You will work with regional teams globally to facilitate and architect Office 365 solutions. You will act as an SME for the integration of acquisitions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for tenant to tenant Office 365 and G suite migrations.
• Manage and troubleshoot AD Connect Tier 3 incidents.
• Manage Exchange / Office 365 hybrid incident escalations.
• Automate tasks as needed through the use of scripting technologies
• Plan and coordinate maintenance windows, and any other activities that could impact the availability of services.
• Researching and advising on cloud solutions.

Requirements

Technical/Management Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience with supporting Exchange Online and Microsoft O365.
• Practical experience of Azure AD and Cloud integration.
• Strong EMS skills, Intune experience a plus.
• Practical experience with Exchange hybrid and Office 365.
• Thorough understanding and experience of email systems and enterprise infrastructures.
• Extensive PowerShell expertise.
• Understand change management and be able to manage and mitigate project risk.
• Have experience working as part of a project team and understand project structure.
