Job Description

Responsibilities:

The scope of the position includes all kinds of server or network related works. Successful applicants will be assigned to tasks on the demand of the project including, but not limited to:

- Integrate 3rd party libraries to game server

- Cooperate with other team members or external partners to finish server side programming works

- Other server side programming works

Qualifications

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Computer Science or related field

- Excellent C/C++/node.js programming skill, at least 2-3 years work experience on C/C++/node.js programming

- Online game development experience (server)

- Distributed Systems programming experiences

- Experiences on creating efficient, well organized server

- Familiar with network protocols: TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS.

- Understanding design pattern and practice it in programming

- Follow a good coding convention

- Good habit to comment in source code and write documents in English

- Knowledge of network security issues and countermeasures

- Familiar with MySQL

- Excellent communication skills with fluent oral and written English

- A passion for creating and playing online / video games

Plus:

- Experience on other programming languages other than C/C++/node.js, e.g. Java, C#, Python, Javascript, Ruby …

- Familiar with other relational database, such as PostgreSQL

- Familiar with NO-SQL databases, such as Redis, Mongodb, Couchbase

- Experiences to use Linux
