Network/Infrastructure engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Configuration and support of network equipment
• Configuration and support of storage and bare metal servers
• Virtualization System Administration (VMware)
• Linux Server Administration
• Monitoring the status of services and prompt solution of emerging problems
• Automation of administrative tasks
• Infrastructure development and improvement
• Interaction with developers, DB administrators, Devops engineers, architects

REQUIREMENTS

• At least two years of experience in a similar position
• Excellent knowledge of Debian/Ubuntu Linux family
• Experience in setting up and operating active network equipment: switches, routers, firewalls
• Confident knowledge of network and routing technologies: Vlan, STP, static routing, PBR, OSPF, BGP, ACL, IPSEC, OpenVPN, DNS, DHCP, etc.
• Experience with VMware: vCenter, vSAN, Distributed Switch, HA
• Skills of working with HP/Dell servers and Netapp storage
• Proficiency in spoken and technical English at Intermediate level or higher

NICE TO HAVE

• Knowledge/experience using DevOps practices
• Experience working with IaC, Ansible/Puppet/Terraform configuration management systems
• Experience in administration of monitoring, logging and metric collection systems (ELK, Zabbix, Grafana, etc.)
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services
• Understanding the principles of information security, experience working with SOC2/PCI DSS infrastructure
• Working expirience with Kanban, Agile
