What you’ll be doing
- Create compelling dialogue and stories along the narrative vision of the game's Lead Designers on an episodic basis
- Concept and iterate new story arcs for each episode
- Write dialogue for the agreed upon characters in the game
- Design strategies for narrative in a linear progression and a multi-episode meta story arc
- Collaborate verbally and in writing, across multiple internal departmentsIntegrate inventive writing with design to support both creative and product goals
- Create on-screen text designed for mobile first UI/UX
Who you are
- 3+ years Narrative Design or Game Writing experience, or equivalent
- Exceptional grasp of English grammar and spelling including proofreading and copywriting skills
- Best in class story arc creation and dialogue writing that players are drawn into and want to read
- Understanding of comedic episodic narrative creation
- Ability to self-prioritize assignments in a rapidly shifting, fast-paced creative environment
- General knowledge of F2P mobile game design pipelines and current market trends
Nice to Have
- A love for mobile, casual games
- Ability to write in multiple languages
- Have written scripts for TV, theatre, webisodes, comics, or movies
