Narrative Designer

As the narrative designer you will participate in crafting the game’s story, creating memorable characters, defining narrative behind game mechanics, items and locations, designing mission flow, creating and implementing narrative assets.

Responsibilities:

• Designing narrative content for an exciting new living game;
• Realizing overarching story themes on different design and narrative layers;
• Collaborating with Design, Art and Writing teams to flesh out narrative ideas;
• Creating narrative assets (dialogues, quest documentation, item descriptions, etc.)
• Documenting, testing, and implementing the narrative and localization structure within the game;
• Sharing their knowledge and mentoring other Designers; (*in case of Seniors);
• Working with the Tool and Engine teams in order to improve the game design workflow; (*in case of Seniors)

Requirements:

• Good communication skills;
• Organizational skills;
• Creativity;
• Ability to collaborate and respond to feedback;
• Writing experience - portfolio is required
• Knowledge of the design principles and passion for games is a plus;
• Using level editors is a plus;
• Proficiency in English is required;
• 5 years of experience in narrative design and at least 2 shipped titles; (*in case of Seniors)
