Data Scientist (Junior/Senior)

Playtika is looking to hire several Data Scientists to join the AI Department. We are recruiting for Junior and Senior positions, that are based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

You will join a team of people with exceptional soft skills and outstanding hard skills, that like to share lunchtime together, talk about everyday life, sports, travels, etc., and that transform into highly trained geeks when extracting leverageable information from Terabytes of structured and unstructured data (per day!).

You will join a multidisciplinary team focusing on player insights, where we use classical and cutting-edge Machine Learning (ML) to provide a better experience to our players.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data science, statistical learning, machine learning and deep learning systems that influence millions of players
• Implement and optimize appropriate ML algorithms and tools for time series, text, and image data
• Transform data science prototypes into full-scale products, while deploying and monitoring ML models
• Run live tests and experiments
• Train and retrain systems when necessary
• Create or extend existing ML libraries and frameworks
• Collaborate with other scientists, engineers, architects, and analysts spread across several countries

Requirements

• Experience in Data Science applied to e.g., NLP, Computer Vision, Speech Processing, Robotics, Life Sciences
• MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, or any related degree
• A strong grounding in ML approaches and techniques
• Solid Python programming and systems design experience
• Proficiency with standard ML frameworks (like Pytorch, Tensorflow, scikit-learn)
• Experience working with Git, databases (SQL and no-SQL)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• All-around team player who is a self-motivated, fast learner

• Experience working on high-scale, production-grade projects
• Experience with Big Data tools, in particular batch and stream processing (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, etc.)
• Experience with ML platforms (MLflow, cnvrg.io, etc.)
• Experience with deployment and monitoring real-time (or near real-time) ML models in production
• Experience developing CI/CD workflows and tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)
• Good understanding of container & orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Proficiency with bash/CLI
• Background working with a cloud technology stack
• Experience working in multicultural and distributed environments
