Motion Designer

Noice has raised over $27 million from founders of game industry unicorns from Unity to Supercell, been developed for years in stealth mode and is now in Closed Beta. Our ambition is to grow Noice to tens of millions of users and tens of thousands of content creators within the next three years. You’ll have a key role in enabling that to happen.

Noice is on the lookout for a highly skilled and creative Motion Designer to join our marketing department. Reporting into the Creative Lead and supporting the Marketing and Social teams, you will be responsible for crafting creative stories utilizing your strong design, animation, and story-telling skills. You are adept at working across a range of lengths and styles, including advertising, organic, and brand content. The work you produce will play a crucial role in visually engaging our community and promoting our brand through various marketing channels, including social media, on platform, and digital experiences.

So who are we looking for? The ideal candidate lives and breathes the gaming creator space and has a deep understanding of the content types and styles that work with this community. Predominantly crafting content for social media initially, you will produce motion assets by editing VoDs as well as creating, designing, and animating motion graphics and other visual assets. You have a strong eye for design and are proficient in both motion graphics-, and video editing software. A good understanding of the 3D production process is ideal but not necessary.

We are a distributed company with most of our team based in Europe with hubs in Helsinki, Finland and London, UK. We welcome candidates within +/- 2 hours of EET for this role. Work will be done remotely with occasional preplanned travel to Helsinki - organized and paid by Noice.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with marketing, social, creative and wider cross-functional teams to conceptualise and execute video campaigns for various marketing channels; creating, editing and animating motion assets as necessary with quick turnaround
• Transform footage and narrative scripts into powerful and engaging visual content that delivers across a range of objective and mediums
• Design graphics and other visual assets for social media, marketing materials, presentations and other applications
• Collaborate with the wider team to understand project requirements, objectives, and ensure the smooth and timely delivery
• Edit and synchronise audio tracks, voiceovers, and sound effects with video content
• Maintain and advocate for brand consistency through video and animated content
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and software advancements in video editing and motion graphics
• Take ownership of the brand motion language and look for opportunities to push it further
• Maintain an organised file structure and asset library

What we are looking for

• Must be detail-oriented, organised, able to estimate required post-production time, work to tight deadlines, manage multiple project assets and have excellent communication skills
• Professional experience with software such as but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, with exceptional proficiency in After Effects, Premiere and Photoshop
• Experience creating social media content in a professional setting, particularly short-form vertical video for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube #Shorts.
• Passion for gaming, social, and branded content and experience working with influencer and gaming content
• Solid understanding of storytelling and composition
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - able to readily understand briefs and contribute to raising the bar
• Good working knowledge of Figma
• Good knowledge of production processes and workflows
• Fluent in English - verbal and written

Portfolio guidelines

• Ensure that your portfolio contains examples of both long-form horizontal videos and short-form vertical video created for social media.
