We are 2K Mocap - a lean, efficient motion capture studio that produces mocap, audio, and video assets for our developers and clients across two motion-capture stages. What We Need
The Motion Capture Studio's Production Coordinator will support the Producers in charge of overseeing every facet of the production process across all 10+ projects. From organizing pre-production meetings to creating shoot reports, the Production Coordinator will be involved in the careful coordination and organization of a highly complex production environment. The Production Coordinator will take the guide specific projects, working in tandem with a Producer to efficiently share duties and play to their relative strengths. They will maintain an understanding of the production requirements of each department and development team. They will work closely with the Producers to develop industry-leading production practices, improving studio efficiencies and processes. The Production Coordinator must be highly collaborative, diligently working with the Mocap team to provide outstanding production and customer service to the game developers.
What You Will Do
- Act as a point person for communication between internal departments and the developer teams— ensuring clear, concise communication between all parties
- Assist the Operations Manager with managing the Mocap Production Assistants, monitoring progress and accuracy of their tasks
- Collect, organize, and manage material sets for distribution to various internal and external parties. Including but not limited to call sheets, shoot reports, agendas, and meeting notes
- Create and populate shoot reports and ensure all departments receive the up-to-date information they require
- Collaborate on defining and improving production processes and workflows within the studio and with developer partners
- Collaborate with all Mocap departments, assisting in taking stock of their initial needs for incoming projects and identifying what our deliverables are for the length of each project
- Attends meetings/functions as needed or requested, taking detailed notes/minutes, and disseminating as appropriate
- Collaborate with department leads on presentation creation and support
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
- Communicate diplomatically with internal and external teams
- Review and respond to daily internal/external e-mail and communications
- Compose and distribute professional correspondence and e-mails
- Conduct research as requested, compile reports
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years' experience in internal or external game development
- Previous experience in project management and production
- Experience with AAA titles preferred
- Prior work experience in a production environment, such as video games, film, or animation, a plus
- Outgoing personality, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Possess close attention to detail and vigilant proactivity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proficient in GSuite, specifically Google Docs, Forms, and Sheets
- Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task and manage workflows
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups
- Quick learner, able to pick up new tools and technologies and learn new processes quickly while pro-actively seeking out training as needed
- Highly organized. Able to keep on an assigned track without constant supervision
- Must be able to effectively communicate risks and obstacles both to team members as well as to your direct supervisor
