What We Need:
The successful candidate will be 2K’s main point of contact for mobile publishing and mobile platforms (Apple, Google, 3rd-party App Store) in Asia. The candidate will assist the 2K Asia GM in creating new growth opportunities, managing the mobile portfolio and strategy, and overseeing the daily mobile game publishing and operations.
The role requires to build a mobile game publishing team from scratch. The candidate will need to work closely with cross-functional teams such as Business Development, Legal, Finance, Analytics, Marketing, Global Teams, both within and outside 2K.
What You Will Do:
- Assist the Asia GM in defining and executing 2K’s mobile strategy
- Build, grow and manage the Mobile publishing team in Asia
- Work closely with the Global team to integrate and implement the mobile publishing tools and best practice system to Asia
- Work closely with BD and mobile game studio to launch and drive revenue in Asia. Provide operational and monetization plans to studios for LiveOps supports and monetization improvement
- Manage strategic relationships with mobile platforms (i.e., Apple, Google, 3rd-party App Stores) - align roadmaps, maximize title exposure, and increase organic installs Champion platform opportunities (new tools, tech, business models, programs) that support our portfolio agenda
- Consolidate P&L of the mobile business, working with BD, Finance, and Analytics
- Manage and mentor other Mobile Pillars – such as Ad Monetization, Production, and Operations
Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:
- 5+ years of experience in large scale mobile game publishing and operations
- Leadership experience with an entrepreneurial spirit in building and growing a team from scratch
- Very strong knowledge of the mobile ecosystem. Experienced in navigating mobile platforms (Apple, Google) throughout the entire lifecycle – from propping builds and running betas, to getting repeated featuring opportunities
- Understanding of mobile KPIs, especially as they relate to forecasts, P&Ls and deal evaluation
- Demonstrated ability to influence all levels of management, cross-functionally and externally
- Excellent written and oral communications
- BS or MS in computer science or business
