As a Medior QA tester you will be a key part of the QA process within Paladin Studios. You will work closely with all developers and fellow testers, across development teams, enabling them to get the most out of their work. You are the oil between cogs, ensuring smooth processes, headache-free deliveries and a laser sharp focus on performance, functionality and consistency of our games.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hands-on testing and bug hunting
- Executing test cases using test management software such as TestRail
- Accurate, timely and insightful reporting of issues in bug tracking software such as JIRA
- Coordination with Designers, Artists, Programmers and other Testers to improve the overall experience from an end user point of view
ROLE-BASED SKILLS
What we are looking for:
- Knowledge of testing methodologies (user tests, regression tests, usability tests, etc.)
- Interest for mobile game development and the unique challenges it brings
- Experience with test tools and defect management
- Highly structured and an analytical mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
What could help:
- Hands-on experience with Unity
- Experience working with version control tools like GitHub
- Experience with mobile & console development
- Experience with agile methodologies and iterative development.
- Involvement in a project from pre-production to live-ops
- ISTQB and/or similar certification in software testing
- Compliance QA experience in mobile for iOS and Android platforms
