The Role @ Sumo Group
We’re looking for a mid-weight graphic designer to join and complement our existing creative and innovative design team.
Collaborating with the wider marketing teams, you will create eye-catching, impactful designs across a spectrum of integrated marketing and communication channels. You will have the ability to design a range of collateral including digital and social content, brochures, adverts, on-boarding materials, event merchandise, presentations, and reports.
Fully immersed in our overall creative and strategic process to provide best-in-class content you will have a good understanding of design across multiple brands to highlight Sumo Group businesses’ unique visual identities and ensure each brand’s visual language is consistently applied across all applications.
The successful candidate will have 8+ years of experience in graphic design, ideally within the video gaming industry or relevant B2B either in-house, agency side or a mixture of both. You will be able to showcase a strong portfolio of work that ranges from the conceptual to working with established brand equity and demonstrate
high-level responsibility for creative. You will be an excellent communicator who brings stakeholders onboard with ideas, enthusiasm, and an eye for detail.

In this role you will:
- Deliver quality design that elevates Sumo Group and its businesses
- Develop high-quality presentations, toolkits and branded collateral
- Be responsible for maintaining a high-level of quality of output from the simplest of briefs using initiative and experience
- Collaborate with and support the Creative Services and Marketing teams, plus a wide range of stakeholders within the Group
- Recognise opportunities for greater creative ideas
To be succesful you will have:
- A love for design
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- An understanding of branding and how to design within multiple brands and voices
- A portfolio that demonstrates a wide range of experience in graphic design, from a strong sense of composition, information hierarchy, and typography skills to an excellent eye for detail
- Presentation skills and fluency in PowerPoint’s tools including Master Slides, Colour Palettes, Type, Multimedia and Animation features
- Experience with data visualisation and infographics
- An awareness of trends and communication needs and the ability to interpret those into fantastic and relevant design for Sumo’s global audiences
- Great communication skills and a positive attitude
- The ability to create concepts across strategy, copy and design and the confidence to present ideas and solutions
- Confidence taking both vague and complex briefs and distilling them down into simple, on-brand and compelling design solutions
- Experience working and collaborating directly with clients/stakeholders
