Marketing Coordinator, Broadcast Tournaments (Contract)

The Fortnite Competitive team is looking for a Marketing Coordinator contractor to assist with broadcast tournaments. This person will have a passion for esports, and coordinate marketing logistics for the Fortnite Champion Series, and all broadcast Fortnite tournaments including creative, social, and website needs. They will work closely with other internal and external teams to ensure that all broadcast Fortnite content delivers a best-in-class experience for our players and community.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining the Fortnite enhanced viewing site
• Assisting with technical preparations for broadcasts (stream keys, scheduling, descriptions, and metadata)
• Managing the Twitch Drops program
• Working with the Creative team to create brand “look & feel” for upcoming seasons
• Integrating branding across all marketing channels

Required Qualifications

• Proven ability to triage and prioritize high volumes of work effectively
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience handling complex schedules for multiple teams
• Understanding of and experience with social media as a marketing tool
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

The ideal candidate would also possess some combination of the following traits:

• 2+ years professional experience in the esports and/or broadcast industry
• Experience interacting with pro gamers directly
• A proactive approach to their work
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing circumstances
• Willingness to take on new responsibilities, as necessary
• Team-work focused attitude
• Experience taking ownership of projects in a professional setting
