Our ideal candidate is an experienced leader who can help us mature and grow our team of analysts, evolve the Battle.net platform data culture and capabilities, and drive data-informed decisions across product and commercial teams. The ideal leader will be a relationship builder; one who drives initiatives across departments, game teams, and organizations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Battle.net & Online Products and Global Insights leadership to implement strategic priorities
• Develop and manage towards a data analytics vision for Battle.net, including:
  • Dashboards and reporting
  • Experimentation design, implementation, and evaluation
  • Improving existing and developing new telemetry
• Manage and develop a team of analytics professionals
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and others to drive business initiatives

Minimum qualifications

• Experience with strategic problem solving and delivering results to leadership
• Ability to structure and communicate clear and concise presentation of findings to any level of an organization
• Familiarity with data analytics on game or E-commerce platforms

• Passion for leading and developing team members
• Experience with AB testing and analytical best practices
• Proficiency with SQL or other coding languages and querying databases

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with project management best practices and tools (e.g. Jira, Monday, Kanban)
• Experience with data analytics visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker, QlikView, Google Analytics)
• Advanced degree in analytical field, MBA, or equivalent work experience
