Manager, Software Development - Digital Twin Solutions (ATM and Retail)

The opportunity

The ATM and Retail business unit of Digital Twin Solutions focuses on solutions to extend Unity's success within the Automotive, Transportation, Retail, and broader manufacturing industries. We leverage Unity technologies to create scalable solutions for all sizes of companies. With every engagement we learn more about the requirements of these industries and endeavour to take our learnings forward into continually improving solutions. Members of our team will be able to help shape these solutions and hone the skills most applicable to these industries.

Are you interested in applying your technical skillset across different industries for global companies? You'll solve difficult problems and implement core features, playing a meaningful role in building and delivering high-quality projects. We are looking for a Manager, Software Development to help us build a new team. You’ll lead all aspects of the technical delivery of one or more client projects, which vary in scope and duration. You’ll also be responsible for mentoring and growing a world-class team of engineers.

What you'll be doing

• Leading a team of developers working with designers, project managers and quality analysts to develop outstanding applications
• Work with clients on technical solutions, and build client relationships
• Architect, develop and deploy high-quality applications
• Work with project managers to build project plans and timelines
• Support in the writing of proposals, estimation and planning

What we're looking for

• Experience in leading software development teams from concept of the project to delivery with Unity and C#
• Strong understanding of all aspects of the software development lifecycle
• Good communicator with the ability to work with people who encourage collaboration, cultivate new and innovative ideas and interact directly with clients
• Experience with AR/VR, mobile apps, web technologies or games
• Ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems

You might also have

• Experience with 3D graphics rendering and optimization techniques
• Experience with cloud development, IoT, simulation, or machine learning
• Experience integrating new software development with existing enterprise systems
