Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Most notably, you are a collaborative team player with strong modelling skills who provide valuable analytical insights alongside with strategic financial support.

In this role, you will contribute by:

• Driving the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process in collaboration with the company’s leadership team
• Providing relevant and actionable management reporting to help steer the management team toward achieving financial and strategic goals
• Partnering with the CFO and Strategic Leadership Team to prepare long-term financial projections that align to the company’s strategic plan
• Performing sensitivity analysis and developing scenario models to weigh alternative actions
• Analyzing financial results against targets and providing commentary and meaningful insights on trends in the business
• Identifying risks and opportunities to management along with recommend strategies
• Presenting updates on the company’s financial health during monthly business reviews
• Managing, coaching, and developing a team of solid analysts
• Streamlining and optimizing FP&A operations through building processes that incorporate FP&A best practices to provide guidance and clarity to the organization; ensuring compliance with the budget process; designing a system to ensure all relevant stakeholders have easy access to key financial data
• Driving continuous improvement of complex revenue forecasting models
• Partnering with the Financial Reporting team on revenue recognition processes
• Managing reporting requirements from the parent company and/or partnering with Financial Reporting to achieve such
• Actively participating in the development and maintenance of the FP&A tech stack (Anaplan, Tableau, NetSuite)

Your background includes:

• 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, including 2+ years of experience as a manager
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field supplemented with CPA designation or MBA
• Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting and IFRS standards
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, exposure to business intelligence software (such as Power BI or Tableau) and comfort with manipulating and interpreting large sets of data
• Experience with Anaplan, Adaptive Insights or similar cloud-based financial planning/reporting tool is preferred
• Extensive financial modeling experience, including sensitivity analysis and what-if scenarios
• Ability to partner cross-functionally, through strong relationship building, influencing, negotiating and communication skills, with all levels of management

It would be a big plus if you have:

• Previous experience working in video games or tech industry
• Familiarity with SQL
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions
