Magic Tavern is looking for a 2D Game Artist who loves a little drama and has an eye for fashion! At Magic Tavern, we create engaging casual games for the global market and are best known for Matchington Mansion and Project Makeover! As a Game Artist, you would work directly with our narrative team to help us concept new characters and environments.

This position allows you to work from home and manage your own schedule. Although we are based in the San Francisco Bay Area, we are open to hiring in the following locations: San Francisco Bay Area, Portland, Denver, Las Vegas, Austin, Dallas, and Toronto.
Chief Responsibilities:
- Concept characters and environments. This includes clothes, furniture, and ways to visually represent someone’s personality.
- Create art for social media, and generally help the company with artistic needs.
What We Need:
- Strong Photoshop skills.
- Ability to draw humans well in a way that is familiar to North American and European audiences.
- Ability to draw strong and clear expressions, or diagrams for how a character should animate.
Background - We can accept a variety of backgrounds. Here are the types of backgrounds we are looking for:
- 2+ Years of experience in mobile games.
- BFA or BA Art Education required.
- Experience in comics or web comics.
- Storyboarding or cartooning.

- Ability to speak multiple languages.
