MBA Intern, Strategy, Finance & Operations

The Rooster Teeth division of Warner Bros. Discovery is looking for an MBA Intern for its Strategy & Finance team. This is a highly visible role and will partner with key stakeholders across the organization. This candidate should have a passion for digital media, gaming, and entertainment. This is a paid internship and will require 10+ hours per week with flexibility, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Work cross functionally between Finance & Strategy, sales, ecommerce, and brand teams
• Use a data driven approach to solve business problems
• Partner with various functional teams to create new reporting and elevate transparency
• Support Finance in managing operating model and long range plan, providing frequently updated projections for key revenue streams and expenditures
• Develop internal and external facing presentation materials for key stakeholders
• Provide financial support for business unit investments and new corporate initiatives
• Develop operational relationship with business leaders and enhance a dynamic, collaborative, and fun team environment

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate would have experience at an entertainment / consumer internet company in a strategy, finance, or business operations role coupled with consulting, banking, private equity, etc. Candidates with other experience but strong interest in these areas are also encouraged to apply
• High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis, including strong Excel skills
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to guide and influence senior leadership
• Familiarity with Digital Media, OTT / DTC distribution, and/or eCommerce a plus
• Team player with a positive attitude
