What You Will Do:
- Planning/Forecast and maintaining the localization budget
- Scheduling localization efforts and defining resource needs for assigned projects
- Establish and ensure high quality localization standards for all projects.
- Coordinate efforts with cross-functional teams particularly with Studio, PD Team, QA, Marketing, Operations and Legal to sync development efforts and localization schedules leading to release of the product
- Foresee, monitor and solve all localization issues and bugs with stipulated timeframe in a quality and efficient manner
- Manage localization team, external vendors and freelancers to support high quality localization of Asian languages
- Solid in-depth knowledge of internationalization and localization
- Working knowledge of industry standard localization tools
- Mitigate project risk through prioritization
- Manage localization schedules and requirements across internal and external resources effectively
- Develop and maintain terminology glossaries for Asian localization and communicate this knowledge effectively to all Studios
- Contribute and participate in strategic initiatives cross-functionally with Studio and PD
- Collaborate with Studio and Operations team to provide rating materials to secure all Asian ratings required for launch
- Support the Operations team by reviewing the Asian localized packaging assets to ensure that the quality of localization provided by the designated Localization vendor meets the local market requirements
