Job Description

Working in close collaboration with the production team, the Localization Project Manager is responsible for organizing and leading multilingual game localization. The project manager finds the most suitable solutions to cope with local market objectives, linguistic/technical constraints and project specifications.

The localization aspect is tied to the adaptation of the product to a target culture and market. Basically, it consists of handling the translation and adaptation, audios, integration and linguistic quality assurance of a product from a source language, usually English, to several destination languages (French, German, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian, Portuguese, Nordic languages, Russian, Polish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese etc.). The LPM will also work with internationalization, when dealing with an ensemble of actions (technical, process wise or linguistic/content wise) taken so that a product can actually be localized, and, even more, that it can be localized easily, quickly and cheaply.

This is a permanent position based in Malmö, Sweden, and requires working onsite. We kindly ask you to apply with your CV and message to the hiring manager / cover letter in English. Applications will be reviewed whilst the job-ad is posted.
