Amazon Games is seeking a talented and experienced Localization Program Manager to partner with Prime Gaming. Prime Gaming is an Amazon Prime benefit offering members tons of free, exclusive content for their favorite games, a library of free games, and more. Prime Gaming joins Prime Video, Amazon Music, and Prime Reading to give Prime members the best of all kinds of entertainment. This is an impactful role with an opportunity to improve how Prime Gaming works with game studios across the industry to raise the bar for the localization experience for customers on a global scale. We want Amazon customers around the world to have immersive and exciting experiences in their preferred languages, no matter their country or locale.

As a Localization Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape the localization processes and mechanisms that power Prime Gaming’s global website. You will manage the process for how localization processes are executed by addressing daily tactical operations, and driving short and long-term, strategic goals. You will be responsible for owning the end-to-end localization process and will work with internal stakeholders from Business Development through Quality Assurance to ensure we launch on time with quality. You will also build relationships with external stakeholders by managing developer expectations and ensuring their launch runs as smoothly as possible.

Basic Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience as a Localization program manager or producer
· Experience with modern game development and publishing practices
· Experience with modern internationalization tools, techniques and processes

Preferred Qualifications

· Familiarity with one or more non-English languages
· Passion for creative translation that speaks to gamers
· Excellent communicator able to influence different groups to achieve business goals
· Sharp attention to detail
· Ability to juggle multiple competing projects simultaneously
· Deep understanding of the business of games and online entertainment
· Willingness to continually improve the effectiveness and quality of processes
· Ability to communicate with and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve cross-team goals
· Experience working with enterprise-level Translation Management Systems such as memoQ (preferred), Trados, or XLOC
· Experience working in Jira and Confluence
