Localization French Linguist Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for a Localization French Linguist Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team focusing on games translation. We are passionate about providing high quality translations to our clients. You will be part of that, translating for world-renowned mobile and social games titles. It´s a temporary contract of 6 months for a specific proyect.

Duties and Responsibilities

Act as Point of contact between the client’s Development team and KWS translation team on KWS end:

• provide support and show best practices to the translation team on content specifics (terminology, variables) and escalate feedback towards the Dev team
• style guide creation
• handle translation query response
• take part in localization tasks (translation, review and bug fixing, testing, etc.)

Requirements

• Desirable: 2 + years of experience in Localization.
• Excellent level of communication skills
• English fluent
• French: mother tongue
• French linguist academic background
• Knowledge in coding language such as C++ would be valued
