The position

The studio is currently hiring for a Localization Coordinator to work on our open world sandbox multiplayer games to cover a one-year-long parental leave, starting November 2021. Depending on the needs of the projects, there is also a possibility of a successful candidate becoming a permanent member of the team after this one-year-long period.

As a Localization Coordinator at Avalanche Studios Group you will cooperate closely with the Narrative and Game Designers, Production, QA, external Localization teams and other major stakeholders on the projects.

You will be responsible for coordinating the localization on your projects, ultimately ensuring that the localized versions of the games provide the same quality of experience to all players, regardless of the language they play in. This includes internationalization, multilingual text database handling, coaching on best practices and evangelizing game localization, supporting your internal teams as well as our external translators and LQA teams, both linguistically and technically.

We are looking for a colleague who enjoys authentic communication and clear structure, and who is driven, quality-oriented and able to manage and track their workload. A self-organized person who likes to learn new things, keep processes up to date, and who enjoys collaborating with the project teams and fellow Localization Coordinators.
