Summary:
Localization Coordinator Assistant will be working on multiple mobile games (Asian languages to English and English to Asian languages) by assisting Loc Manager/ Senior Loc Coordinator/Loc Coordinator.
What You Will Do:
- Assist the Loc Manager/Senior Loc Coordinator/Loc Coordinator in the planning and execution of mobile game localization.
- Organize/create localization kit from developers & external loc vendors.
- Work closely with the mobile team daily to share progress, provide localization input, and feedback upon request.
- Utilize translation memory, translation workflow, localization, and project management tools to follow a project from beginning to end.
- Manage and track localization schedules, deliveries, and distribution.
- Assist managing bug reports and make sure all issues are solved in-time.
- Support Localization Manager/ Senior Loc Coordinator/ Loc Coordinator’s tasks in various ways.
Skills and Experience:
- Fluent in English, Business level Japanese
- 2+ years experience in Localization project management from Asian languages to English and European languages, ideally on mobile games or games that runs long term operations.
- Experience in vendor management
- Basic knowledge of the industry standard localization management tools
- Familiar with mobile games in Asia
- Familiar with Microsoft office
