Localisation Project Management
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the localisation of assigned products from planning through to delivery.
Manage the localisation of products for Europe, Australian and Asian territories This is a fixed term contract for a minimum of 12 months but could be extended beyond this .
- Create\Track localisation plan for assigned titles, getting buy in from all stakeholders
- Create\Track localisation budget for assigned titles
- Create\Track risk analysis for assigned projects in a proactive and pre-emptive manner.
- Communicate to stakeholders, clearly and in a timely fashion any risks, which could impact the delivery\budget\quality of the product. Put corrective measures in place where possible
- Communicate with US production, development and QA teams
- Manage and coordinate the translation and VO recording of localised versions of products
- Coordinate with Internal Localisation QA to drive the creation of high quality localised versions of products
- Manage Age Rating process and procedures
- Manage the code submission and approval process
- Manage the day to day relationship with external localisation agencies and translators
Managerial responsibilities
- Supervise Coordinators assigned
- Support assigned QA leads and ensure the assigned QA team have the required support and resources
Strategic responsibilities
- As a Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Senior Localisation Manager in the development and promotion of localisation and internationalisation strategy within Activision
- Review and develop internationalisation and localisation process
- Build strategic relationships with Studios to give understanding and create efficiencies in the localisation process
Qualifications / Training/ Experience (appropriate to the job)
- Project Management - Proven Project Management experience in Localisation,
- Minimun of 3 years’ experience in Project Management for Games Localisation
- Hands-on Experience – in Project Management Tools for example Project\JIRA\Excel
- Localisation - Experience in Internationalisation & localisation processes, Eastern Europe and Asia a bonus
- Financial management - Experience in managing complex financial budgets.
- Process development - Has ability to review and create process focusing on efficiency improvements
- Project Delivery – Proven ability to deliver projects with a lot of complexities including changing schedules\high pressure environment\changing scope
