LiveOps S oftware Developer

Miniclip is looking for a LiveOps Software Developer to hire in our Lisbon (Portugal) Games Development Studio.

This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level software developer to integrate into an agile, highly effective and skilled team. You will be working with the team that is responsible for the execution of the Live Operations in the form of in-game promotional campaigns, new content and events reaching out to our tens of millions of users!

DUTIES

Your work will include:

  • Creating and maintaining automation tools to minimize manual steps necessary to execute the Product LiveOps strategy
  • Developing robust and scalable solutions to complex problems by using and improving existing in-house technology
  • Participating in team activities to develop new concepts for promotional campaigns, temporary events and in-game content
  • Working together with a multi-disciplinary and highly motivated agile scrum development team, including marketing, artists, quality assurance testers, release managers, and others
  • Acting upon opportunities and needs, supporting the development of new features and resolving internal systems bugs and limitation

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

We are looking for a social, humble, hard-working and autonomous person, thus we need you to be self-motivated, dedicated, result-oriented and accountable for areas of your responsibilities. You must be a team player who constantly seeks self-development opportunities, takes pride in your work and engages with the team to improve together .

The ideal candidate must present the following:

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in tools or script development to automate time-consuming tasks - preferably using Python
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages
  • Excellent problem-solving skills through analytical, systematical or intuitive approaches
  • Curiosity towards continuously learning new skills, trying out new approaches, and striving to enhance the quality of products and code
  • Great communication in both written and spoken English

The following skills are desirable but not essential (if you have them, don’t forget to mention them):

  • Knowledge of LiveOps and mobile CSM systems
  • Background in a technical area within Mobile Game Development (Software Development, Quality Assurance, other)
