Live Operations Specialist

The Team
Welcome to Solid State Studios. We’re a new in-house studio within Activision, dedicated to
developing the best AAA mobile games in the world. Our first project is a new AAA mobile
title in the Call of Duty franchise, Warzone for Mobile and we’re looking for great talent from
mobile, console and PC backgrounds passionate about their work, who share our belief in what AAA experiences on mobile can and should be. We’re incredibly excited to build out our teams and get to work and invite you to join us in making something special.

Your Mission
As a Live Ops Specialist on our mobile team, you will be an integral member of our team
focused on the day-to-day operations for the new mobile title. You will own the design,
configuration, and execution of in-game events, sales, and offers to drive deeper engagement and
growth. Y ou will not only work with other team members of the Mobile team, but you will work
with internal stakeholders and our developers as well . We are looking for individuals who are
comfortable running live operations in a fast-paced environment, wearing multiple hats, and
having the drive to constantly iterate and solve problems.
This role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
 Design a strategy and execute events to drive engagement and monetization
 Configure, test events/offers and validate the configurations
 Monitor the launch of events and content, ensuring players get the correct experience
 Collaborate with Product Managers and Analysts to evaluate the performance of events,
sales, features, A/B tests, and use learnings to optimize future occurrences
 Strategize and test various hypotheses around events to improve retention, monetization,
and engagement
 Improve our processes and tools to ensure we are using our time and resources in the
most efficient way possible

 Help identify areas of opportunity and contribute to new Live Ops oriented features
design
Player Profile
 3+ years of experience in the gaming industry, preferably within mobile Live Ops
 Experience working with various configurations tools, configurations software, advanced
Microsoft Excel skills are highly desirable
 Strong attention to detail
 Positive and collaborative approach, able to work effectively within a team, give and
receive constructive feedback
 Self-motivated, able to prioritize time and work effectively
 Able to brainstorm creative campaigns to make meaningful experiences for our players
 Clear verbal and written communication skills
 Deep understanding of free-to-play games systems and economies
 A passion for games, especially mobile and first-person shooters!

publishing and live operations, dedicated to the development of AAA mobile titles. Designed
