About the Role
- The LiveOps Manager will own the Revenue, Engagement and Retention KPIs, and plan and execute monetization strategies that will motivate and encourage players to play and pay.
- As the Studio LiveOps Manager you will work closely with the Broadcasting, Product and LiveOps teams to deliver, monitor and optimize on-location LiveOps events. These will set up a first in industry example!
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create and execute studio events, in collaboration with Producers, Hosts and the Product and LiveOps teams. Contribute to the Monthly calendar creation.
- Achieve KPI targets for event engagement and monetization
- Analyze, optimize and improve events content, messaging and balancing. Own the event’s success and monitor in real time.
- Present results to senior management with successes, failures, learnings and recommendations for continuous improvement to studio LiveOps events
- Work to improve the infrastructure and support for Studio events, involvement in new feature development and representation of the studio’s needs.
- Create the communication plan, briefing and rehearsing (aka call sheet) with each host every day on the pertinent details of the current liveops event
- Copy-edit all in-app and in-broadcast player-facing messaging
- Monitor performance of events in real-time and adjust configurations, economy and/or content accordingly to achieve target results.
Requirements
- 2+ years of work experience in an online gaming company (Relevant experience may include In-Game Monetization Manager, Game Designer, QA, Community Manager but not exclusive to)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team player and proactive by nature. Attentive and autonomous.
- Mobile games experience.
- Product and LiveOps understanding.
- Proven Analytical skills. Able to identify issues and suggest relevant and effective solutions. Strives to constant improvement and is highly engaged with data.
- Creative, thinking outside of the box, can come up with simple solutions for POCs.
- Well spoken, can translate needs to technical requirements.
- Excellent written and spoken English..
- Studio understanding (or ability to learn and passion for creating something new from scratch)
