Live Operations AI Engineer (LiveOps)

Overview
As a Live Operations AI Engineer on the Live Operations Team, you’ll focus on helping us level up how data is perceived and used, as well as further automate long-standing processes, for the Live Operations group and studios within the ZeniMax organization. You will work closely with decision making systems and data that directly impact various teams and studios throughout the organization. This role is critical in helping to provide objective analytics and improving systems and tools which assist in the identification and remediation of issues for ZeniMax.
Responsibilities
- Assist with case deflection initiatives, automation and other digital self-help assets to improve customer and engineer experience
- Build Machine Learning models for autonomous systems and to help with objective decision making
- Collaborate with team to rapidly iterate capability
- Contribute to software engineering projects to deliver well-defined products that generate immediate value
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Share knowledge and learnings with both fellow and aspiring Software Engineers
- Ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code
- Take part in design discussions about new features and ensure that they integrate seamlessly with other pieces
- Working as part of a small, agile team that is dedicated to achieving rapid impact
Qualifications
- 6+ years’ professional software development experience on all phases of a development cycle
- 3+ years’ hands on experience working with AI & Machine Learning concepts and algorithms
- Minimum BS degree in Computer Science or related technical experience
- Experience using cloud computing technologies including AWS and/or Azure
- Experience with building machine learning models using frameworks like PyTorch and Tensorflow
- Fluent in automating workflows and writing modular object-oriented tools using C/C++ and Python
- Knowledge and experience of parallel computing and GPU programming
- Strong understanding of fundamental data structures and algorithms
Preferred Skills
- Data analytics experience with a passion for taking deep dives into data lakes
- Experience using Lean-Agile methodologies, feature-driven development, or test-driven development
- Previous experience with games and within the gaming industry
- Take joy in experimentation
- Technical writing
