We are seeking a Line Manager who is passionate about growing and mentoring a best-in-class craft team, in engineering, design, production or animation. You will mentor developers to grow their long-term skills, and identify and achieve career goals. You will also partner with other craft team line managers to create and drive studio initiatives, and help develop and enhance our studio high performance culture.
This role will report to our Studio Line Director, based in our studio in Los Angeles, California. We are considering on-site and hybrid working options, and welcome full-time remote candidates who are within a three hour time difference to the Pacific Time Zone to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Coaching, mentoring, and career development for developers
- Resource and talent planning for craft team
- Performance and salary reviews
- Identify talent opportunities for the craft team and drive recruitment
- Partner with line managers from other crafts to grow and develop Ripple Effect’s Line Organization
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in game development or a similar industry
- Experience both as an individual contributor and a manager
- A passion for mentoring and growing game developers
