About this position at Lightspeed LA This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Community Engagement Coordinator to join our in-house team to work on a new and exciting open-world, AAA game. We are seeking someone who will bring passion to the role, collaborating closely with Marketing and Publishing and other disciplinary teams, to help create and foster a community of ambassadors for our game and studio. Below is an outline of responsibilities and some of the qualities we look for in the ideal teammate. Requirements: Act as a liaison between the gaming studio and the player community. Address player inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally while actively gathering feedback to convey to our development team. Moderate community chatter and sentiment across community forums and social platforms for the studio and our game. Ensure a safe and positive environment for players to connect and share. Actively engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Cultivate and nurture a thriving online community around our games. Support the execution of social media strategies and tactics, campaigns, and promotions. Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless implementation. Engage with influencers and content creators and work to develop successful relationship management to amplify the game's presence. Collaborate effectively with marketing/publishing teams, development teams, and external partners to amplify our media hits across all channels. Monitor competitor social media activities and gaming industry trends. Provide insights and recommendations based on observations. Aid in monitoring and optimizing the posting schedule, incorporating best practices; utilize content platform to schedule posts and analyze data Support Social Media Community Manager as needed Desirable Skills & Experience: Passion for staying up-to-date with current trends, gaming news, and community chatter Passion for staying current with newest social platform updates and ability to build relationships with those partners Creative and strategic thinking with a passion for innovation and optimizing performance. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.
