We are looking for an experienced Level Artist to join the Skate team. You will report to The World Building Director.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the World Building Director and World Art Director to establish Environment Theming & Tone, References for sections of the world.
- Work closely with Level Designers to iterate on, and bring a level of believability and detail to the world while retaining the gameplay intentions.
- Work with proprietary procedural tools to lay out and detail sections of the world.
- Work within performance and memory budgets defined by the tech art and engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- 3+ Years Experience on Video Game Asset production teams
- Experience shipping environment content in an intermediate role on 1-2 shipped console/PC titles.
- Strong knowledge of architecture, urban planning, and visual design.
- Excellent sense of visual composition, form and color.
- Excellent knowledge of how to manage content for games in an optimized and performant manner.
- A degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Visual Design, or related diploma or certificate.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $103,200 - $145,600 USD Annually
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $92,600 - $145,600 USD Annually
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $117,300 - $145,600 USD Annually
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $111,800 - $151,800 USD Annually
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $92,600 - $135,600 USD Annually
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $89,300 - $123,000 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time. In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
