Legal Intern

Rooster Teeth seeks an exceptional law student to intern for the Summer semester in the Rooster Teeth legal department. The intern will assist Rooster Teeth’s dynamic in-house legal team on a wide variety of legal matters including entertainment and media (development, production, and licensing), intellectual property, music, merchandise, live events, general commercial contracts, and other day-to-day legal and business affairs-related tasks. The ideal intern is a self-starter, able to work independently, manage a varied workload efficiently and smoothly, and who is extremely detail-oriented and learns quickly. Rooster Teeth’s Legal department works as a team in a highly collaborative manner, and the ideal intern will have a cooperative, positive, team-oriented spirit.

Requirements:

• Must be on-site in the Austin, Texas office throughout internship
• Currently enrolled in college (You must provide a letter of verification)
• 2nd or 3rd year law student with solid academic record.
• A passion for digital and social media, entertainment, technology, and in contributing to a
• successful in-house legal team.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Prior legal and/or business work experience is a plus.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 15-20 hours per week.
• Externship/academic credit with your law school may be facilitated.
