Legal Counsel - Data & Privacy (F/H/NB)

Job Description
As a Legal Counsel, you will support our teams in Europe and worldwide by putting your expertise at the disposal of their creativity, their will to innovate and the permanent search for the trust of our players and employees in the use of their personal data by Ubisoft.
Within the Legal Department and under the responsibility of the Data Protection Officer Europe, you will support the Data & Privacy team of 10 people. You will participate in the creation of an innovative and privacy-friendly environment in compliance with regulations and the needs of the teams. Pushing the boundaries of imagination and technology, your main missions are:
- Contribute to the implementation of internal actions and the improvement of procedures to ensure Ubisoft's compliance in terms of personal data and in particular the respect of the rights of Ubisoft's players, employees and candidates;
- Support the Business and Production teams (development studios) in their innovative activities;
- Negotiate the personal data aspects of contracts with Ubisoft's partners and service providers, thereby contributing to Ubisoft's legal security;
- Participate in the elaboration of Ubisoft's documentation (privacy impact studies, updating of privacy policies, etc.);
- Carry out audits of the procedures and processes implemented by Ubisoft;
- Support Privacy Champions and contribute to the animation of the network with the whole team;
- Carry out employee training activities (face-to-face, videoconference or any other innovative form);
- Ensure a technological and legal watch in order to anticipate the future of regulations and uses.
Qualifications
As a Legal Counsel Data & Privacy, you have acquired a first experience either in a company, a law firm, a partner or a regulator that allows you to have a good understanding and global vision of the regulations governing the use of personal data and the regulations related to young players.

- You master the principle of personal data protection and know how to respond to requests to exercise the rights of individuals;
- You know how to assess the compliance of any project;
- You are at ease in drafting and negotiating contracts on personal data aspects, in French and in English;
- You have a strong collaborative spirit: you are part of a team that shares on a daily basis and takes decisions and common positions, team spirit is essential;
- You know how to be creative;
- In an international context, you have a fluent level of English allowing you to work daily in English with non-French speaking teams.
