Legal Administrative Assistant
San Mateo, CA
Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks a Legal Administrative Assistant to support various attorneys and paralegals who support the organization’s product development studios in areas of the law relevant to video games. This is a truly great opportunity to join an experienced legal team and assist those who work on cutting-edge issues in an exciting, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support a group of attorneys and paralegals focused on transnational and intellectual property work
- Revise and format contracts
- Route, track, and file contracts
- Create PowerPoint presentations
- Arrange travel and submit expense reports
- Manage outside counsel billing
- Work within various internal systems
- General administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings, arranging catering for meetings, planning department off-sites and other events, scanning, copying, and mailing
- Manage special projects as they arise
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 years of experience working in an administrative role
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Outstanding verbal and writing skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Industry experience not required, but a general interest in video games is helpful
