** This role is located in Las Vegas, NV (hybrid).

The Learning Experience Design Manager will design and deliver engaging and impactful leadership and learning experiences that promote learner engagement, development, and success. You’ll conduct research to identify leadership and learning needs, create, analyze, and report on learning metrics, and continuously iterate on learning experiences to improve learner outcomes through human-centered and goal-oriented practices.

What does this mean? We are looking for someone who can partner with business leaders and People and Culture Business Partners (P&C BPs) to conduct a needs/gap assessment for the department then determine the best content and structure for their needs. Next you’ll utilize your instructional design background and experience developing eLearning (as well as instructor led training, job aids, etc.) to deliver tailored content and programs. We need someone that can look at the whole picture and not just treat one symptom. We want someone who will think outside the box, be learner focused, keep the audience in mind, and understand how to strategically drive our People First culture forward.

What would your week look like? Some days you may be developing knowledge and performance-based learning checks, assessments, etc., others you may be developing instructor-led training both in person and virtual including, but not limited to: developing the instructor guides, participant guides, decks, learning assessments, pre-work, and post-work. Other days would be spent working with our business leaders and P&C BPs to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion. Still others will be creating and presenting on Learning dashboards and metrics. As a Learning Experience Design Manager at Aristocrat Gaming, you will report to the Director, Talent Capability.

Pay Range

$83,390-$154,867

What you'll do

Facilitation of Leadership and Learning Experience Design: Develop collaborative partnerships with business leaders and P&C BPs in the discovery of learning needs and defined learning outcomes; conduct research and analyze data to inform the design of effective learner-centered experiences; create, analyze, and present learning metrics dashboard; ensure that learning experiences align with instructional design principles and educational best practices; iterating on learning experiences to continually improve learner outcomes and engagement.
Project Management: Demonstrate efficiency and human-centered practices in managing multiple project plans, maintain deadlines, track progress and performance to ensure successful outcomes.
Relationship Management: Establish and maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders, understanding their strengths and skillsets, communication styles, and motivation to effectively drive results.
Design Processes: Design and produce engaging and accessible course learning experiences in accordance with design principles (e.g., color, typography, image selection, visual communication, etc.) that adhere to accessibility standards and utilization of technology tools to enhance learning experiences.
Coaching/Training: Coordinate and produce excellent, high-impact consultation and learning experience design assets for an accessible learning experience (how-to guides, job aids, processes, web content, templates, examples, etc.) and facilitate experiences (training, micro-courses, learning communities, presentations, etc.) to serve university needs and meet division goals.

What we're looking for

Master’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of direct learning experience design, instructional design, or curriculum development of both live and online courses from ideation to production.
Demonstrated passion for developing awesome learning experiences with a true appreciation for audience needs, thoughtful design, rapid development, attention to details and a keen focus on the user experience and alignment to broader business strategies
Ability to translate content into a visual, multimedia experience, leveraging graphics, motion graphics, audio and visual design skills
Puts into practice human-centered design/design thinking principles and methods to truly deliver against the source of the business issue
Experience with designing and developing learning experiences in a variety of modern channels – embedded learning, videos, micro-learning, social, mobile, challenges, experiential learning, OJT, performance support, etc.
Prior experience designing and developing emerging learning experiences including adaptive learning, game-based learning and immersive scenario-based learning
Strong project management skills with the ability to document and communicate project plan
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working cross-functionally and internationally
