Role Overview
Learning & Development Team plays a vital role in our Katowice Studio's growth and have a real impact on our constant improvement. As a L&D trainer at Keywords Studios' QA Department, your job will be to equip staff with the knowledge, practical skills, and motivation to carry out their work activities effectively.
You'll take a strategic approach to training, assessing the skills and knowledge within an organisation, and determining what training is needed to grow and retain these skills. Your daily routine will be versatile and rich, ranging from training newcomers to working out the training solutions for our Senior staff and beyond, depending on the current needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Leading learning solutions through a complete training life cycle - needs analysis, mapping, design, development and delivery to address knowledge and skill gaps
- Collaborating with clients and Subject Matter Experts to conceptualize training programs
- Designing blended learning solutions, writing content for blended learning and e-Learning formats
- Designing and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation and the individual
- Facilitating learning sessions
- Onboarding training
- Developmental training
- Evaluating training programs from content to effectiveness
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers
- Helping line managers and trainers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
- Keeping up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses
- Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and present this research
- Collaboration with HR, Resource team, Recruitment in order to accommodate training needs
- Preparing reports concerning training activities to present to management
- Driving a culture of continuous professional development
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in designing and delivering training (experience in the QA industry may be an advantage)
- Excellent fluency in English (both spoken and written)
- Strong facilitation and employee engagement skills
- Solid understanding of adult learning and effective instructional strategies in instructor-led and/or blended learning environments
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills (experience working with a multi-cultural organisation will be a huge asset)
- Experience in developing engaging and effective training programs and activities
- Able to write training assessments and evaluate training effectiveness
- Preferably with knowledge in LMS
- Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently and with teams
- Comfortable with learning new technologies and content
- Positive and agile, can-do & proactive attitude, striving for constant improvement and building relationships with the Team
- As the position is office-based it is essential to be located in the Katowice area or available for immediate relocation.
