Activision Blizzard Esports (ABE) plays a centralized role in the creation of epic entertainment, serving as the operational foundation and partnership hub for the Overwatch League and Call of Duty League. by providing the world-class esports ecosystems Call of Duty League and Overwatch League. Leagues Administration focuses on operations across both Leagues, working cross functionally to ensure smooth planning and execution.

We’re seeking an experienced League Operations Coordinator who is passionate about the video gaming and sports industry, player communities, and the operations that make a league tick. You will be responsible for supporting League Office critical functions, working cross-functionally to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. There will be a wide range of challenges, and you’ll support a suite of creative, executive, and operational personnel. As Leagues Administration fosters a fast-paced environment, roles and responsibilities can evolve and adjust throughout league seasons.

Responsibilities:

• Manage League Office contract workflows, including player contracts and signings, working in tandem with Teams, Competition Operations, and Legal
• Drive League Office review and approval of 3rd Party Community Events
• Coordinate the planning and execution of operational League Office projects, working cross-departmentally as necessary
• Support League Office season readiness planning through milestone tracking, risk escalation, and execution
• Assist and construct official league documents and communications
• Provide the Leagues Administration team with creative insights and solutions to improve processes and capitalize on opportunity

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience working in esports or other live events and/or leagues
• 2+ years experience in an administrative role
• Able to work diligently and confidently in a fast paced, live environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete several projects simultaneously with efficiency and minimal error
• Deep passion and understanding of esports, particularly Call of Duty League and Overwatch League
• Impeccable organizational, problem-solving and time-management abilities
• Able to act with discretion when handling confidential matters
• A love of learning and growing
• A critical thinker, with problem-solving skills to eliminate issues and improve processes
