This is a full-time salaried position with a hybrid WFH model based out of our office in the greater Boston area. Relocation assistance is available.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Champion the vision for our game’s varied gameplay systems: collaborate with the Creative and Design Directors in establishing vision, design systems, and lead the systems team in their execution.
- Manage cross department communication and collaboration as it pertains to systems: work closely with engineers, artists, sound designers, and production in managing the prioritization, implementation, and scope of the game’s systems.
- Lead by example, taking on direct responsibility for creating design specs, implementing where appropriate, and managing tuning of a subset of systems.
- Mentor and lead a team of designers, teaching best practices and principles, and guiding their growth as designers.
- Managing balance and tuning of the game across the total design surface area
Qualifications
