Lead Systems Designer - LAST SENTINEL

We're looking for a Lead Systems Designer, to join the team working on an exciting new open world IP. As the Lead Systems Designer you will be responsible for leading a team of talented designers in working on everything that makes the game tick. This will include the in game economy, progression, social systems and ensuring the wider games is balanced and engaging for the players. This role will work closely with the Game Director and Lead Designers across the projects whilst collaborating closely with other disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Mentor, Support and help develop the design team
- Review design documentations and give feedback to members of the team
- Work with the wider team to help refine processes and workflows
- Collaborate and work closely with different departments
- Participate in play tests and feedback to improve the gameplay
- Analyse how systems interact and ensure they are balanced.
Required Experience
- Experience shipping AAA titles in a Leadership position
- Experience with gamewide systems
- Ability to plan and respond to findings.
- Ability to communicate complex information to the wider team
- Passion and desire to create deep and engaging game systems.

Important:
The interview process for the Lead Systems Designer role is made up of 3 stages:
- First interview (45 – 60 minutes) – An interview to discuss your experience and working history relating to the position with members of our Design team. In return, we will provide a full overview of the role, life at the studio as well as answer any questions you may have.
- Second Interview (30 minutes) - An interview with our Studio Creative Director to discuss your experience, ways of working and the position on offer.
- Final interview (30 minutes) – A final Interview with our Studio Head and Studio Production Director. This will be a chance for you to get to know the Senior Management team and all the things that make Lucid, Lucid! You will have a lot of opportunities to ask any questions about the studio and Culture.
