As Lead QA tester you will be leading the QA process within Paladin Studios. You will work closely with all developers and fellow testers, across development teams, enabling them to get the most out of their work. You are the oil between cogs, ensuring smooth processes, headache-free deliveries and a laser sharp focus on performance, functionality and consistency of our games.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating games together with artists, programmers, designers and producers.
- Championing QA, best practices throughout the studio
- Create and maintain smooth QA processes, tools and solutions.
- Track and monitor the health of the project using project tracking software such as JIRA
- Create, maintain and peer review test documentation
- Coordinate a team of internal and external testers across time zones and cultures
- Estimations and risk assessments for new features, designs and projects.
- Mentor Junior, Medior and Senior testers
- Ensure all team members have professional development plans and conduct regular one-on-ones
- Play an active role in recruitment to build a world class Quality Assurance team
- Coordinate with Producers for resource planning
ROLE-BASED SKILLS
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience leading an integrated Development QA team
- In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies in an agile environment.
- Excellent knowledge of mobile and console submission and release processes
- Excellent understanding of full game development cycles from concept through to gold master and live-ops
- Proven track record of successfully managing QA outsourcing

- Experience as a Lead Tester in either game or software QA
