Lead Programmer

Job Description

Your life at Ubi:

The Lead Programmer’s mission will be to develop, deploy and operate a global solution to automate scheduling & deployment of builds for all Ubisoft QC teams, across all games developed in Ubisoft.

Your main mission:

• Coordinate the development activities within your scope: technical design, software development activities, unit testing, technical documentation, release processes, monitoring & performance management
• Propose technical solution and be involved in the R&D process on new technologies that will benefit existing tools
• Be responsible of code review for the developments done by other developers and ensure all the guidelines are respected, keeping a high-quality code
• Identify technical risks and provide solutions to encountered problems
• Communicate ideas, issues, status, and outcomes with the team and managers
• Actively collaborate with other technical leads inside & outside the department;
• Ensure the administrative monitoring of the team (absence planning and validation, business trips planning, monitoring and validation of time sheets)
• Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort

Qualifications

The professional value you bring:

• Bachelor of Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent training or experience
• Strong experience of programming in C#, .Net, Distributed Web Services, · CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL Databases (MySQL, MSSQL Server, MongoDb), Telemetry (Elastic Search, Kibana), Messaging queues (RabbitMQ)
• Relevant experience of team development
• Very good English knowledge
