Lead Programmer

What You'll Do:

- Lead and Inspire: Drive and manage our diverse programming teams. Foster unity in project development and ensure that everyone is aligned with our vision.

- Solve Complex Challenges: Address technical hurdles within our game engine. Your expertise will enhance load times, optimize memory utilization, and elevate overall performance.

- Bring Ideas to Life: Transform creative visions into playable realities. Your technical insight will be crucial in shaping our games.

- Equip Your Team: Define and provide essential technical resources. Your leadership will ensure the team has everything needed to succeed.

- Mentor and Grow Talent: Share your knowledge with junior programmers. Cultivate a strong technical foundation and encourage innovation.

- Navigate Risks: Be proactive in identifying development risks and devising solutions to overcome them.

- Be the Expert: Deep dive into our game, be it through gameplay or design discussions. Your input will be vital in shaping our future hits.

- Balance and Prioritize: Work within production constraints to effectively scope and prioritize tasks.

Your Qualifications:

- Proven Experience: 8+ years in game development, with at least one AAA title under your belt.

- Technical Expertise: Proficient in C++, C#, GIT, & Perforce. Familiarity with CI/CD systems.

- Communication Skills: Excellent at articulating ideas and working collaboratively.

- Autonomous Worker: Thrive independently and take initiative.

- Mentorship Passion: Eager to guide and uplift junior developers.

- Performance-Driven: Focused on developing high-performing code.

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5.

- Development experience for modern PCs and consoles.

- Proficiency in performance and memory profiling.

- Leadership experience in small to medium tech teams.

- Familiarity with JIRA.
