As a Lead Product Manager you are at the epicenter of game execution. You provide direction, coordination and measurable performance to the game design process. You own game and feature specification. Improving monetization and performance is your mantra. You creatively solve problems and understand data can accelerate performance. You motivate and strengthen team culture bringing it all together and keeping everyone moving forward.

What you get to do every day:

  • Work with leadership to define and promote the product vision, and overall strategy throughout the team
  • Own the development of new features sourced from well defined roadmaps
  • Lead cross functional teams developing features for the product
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to facilitate a deeper understanding of a game’s ecosystem for yourself and the team
  • Drive features from concept to ongoing optimization working with all relevant cross functional disciplines to provide the best outcomes at the lowest cost
  • Identify opportunities for key initiatives to enhance the player experience by driving the fun factor
  • Liaise and collaborate with all relevant teams to guarantee smooth, efficient implementation and rollout
  • Communicate product releases and implementation plans to all key stakeholders
  • Define and implement feature testing protocols – A/B, multi-variate
  • Set up process using optimization tools, write test projections, and measure performance using relevant data points to report on variances and make recommendations
  • Act as a leader for in the quality assurance process in delivering a flawless product

What you bring to the role:

  • Strong passion and knowledge of gaming, especially F2P titles
  • Experience in the gaming industry is preferred
  • Experience managing teams or product departments is strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in making demonstrable impact on revenue
  • Able to deeply understand the game development process and push maximum impact relative to cost
  • Able to partner with cross-functional disciplines, and to influence effectively while remaining diplomatic
  • Deep understanding of feature development process; aware of all relevant considerations (UI/UX, design, engineering costs, monetization, analytics, etc.)
  • Advanced use of analytics platforms/tools like MS Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, Looker
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills & attention to detail
  • Performance-driven self-starter and team player
  • Able to meet deliverables and drive your work to completion within specified timelines
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal
  • Can work cross functionally in many areas without being constrained by your job
  • Knowledge and passion for interactive entertainment and games is preferred

Location: Canada, remote work or office in Victoria BC
