Lead Producer

The Lead producer is responsible for a distributed technical team of engineers and data analysts who support Tilting Point’s live services and who develop tools and features that enable our growing business. As the Lead Producer, you are responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements and handling organizational issues so that these developers can do what they do best. You have strong communication skills, are highly organized, and are comfortable managing schedules for multiple complex projects across time zones.

In this role you will:

Be Expert: You understand project management methodologies and use the best one for any given project. You coordinate the teams’ work, make sure that stakeholders are informed, and ensure deadlines are met with high quality deliverables. You enjoy being able to solve the daily challenges and puzzles that working in a fast-paced, live game service environment creates.

Be Data Driven: You continually improve production processes by tracking developer time and results. You work with other groups within TP to fully understand the critical KPIs and reports needed to run our business. You provide specifics on project status and risks to stakeholders to ensure that we are making decisions based on the best available information. You are the driver of transparency for the production team and project leads around project status, risks, and opportunities.

Be impactful: You collaborate with team leads in the central team and in other departments to determine the time and people needed to see projects through to completion. You create and maintain project plans, schedules, and own the central tech team roadmap, and are able to balance daily demands with the dependencies across multiple groups to ensure successful results.

Be a Life Changer: You are an active advocate for the central tech team and identify and resolve issues before they become problems. Your scheduling and process creation skills improve the quality of life for the live service and tools development team in the central group. You work with other groups within TP to make sure that we are delivering the tools and services in a timely manner which improve the efficiency, quality and effectiveness of our service offerings.

You are able to own challenging tasks, solve problems as they arise, and help your team be productive while still being responsive to the demands of a global, live service environment.
