Lead Online Evangelist

We're looking for a new Lead to join our Online Evangelism team! Our Online Evangelists create technically focused content to drive organic reach to retain and funnel users to our products and solutions. In this role, you will help lead the team's production resources and ensure that the team is aligned with the Unity mission. You will help us achieve our goals and reach our users by working with different teams, globally across the company.

The primary outlet for our team is video, distributed in both live and pre-recorded formats via YouTube. We want to help our community discover and understand new features which are being released and explaining them in a straightforward and accurate way through the creation of demo videos and blog posts.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about Unity’s mission of building a world with more creators in it!

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to produce video content
• Plan, write, and present training content for recorded videos
• Support teams who are building small demos or customizing existing demos in order to demonstrate Unity features including art, code, and audio
• Maintaining a regular customer-facing profile on community sites and social media
• Working across the Unity organization with R&D, Marketing, Education and Business Development

Requirements

• Experience managing a video production team
• Experience releasing content on YouTube
• A passion for Unity, game development, and the desire to engage with our community
• Ability to work autonomously, delivering high-quality content on a fast-paced, deadline-driven team in a globally distributed organization across multiple time zones
• A video portfolio showing examples of Unity features and demonstrated ability to communicate via social media, blogs, and other online communication platforms

Bonus points

• Video production experience in production or post-production
• Experience as an educator, online content creator or broadcaster
• Blogging experience
• Advanced C# coding or other advanced programming experience
• Shipped complete games or other interactive projects, preferably with Unity
• Strong online marketing or social media skills
• YouTube optimization and promotion experience
