Lead Narrative Designer (mobile)

As part of its development program, QUANTIC DREAM is looking for talented staff to expand its teams working on its ambitious upcoming productions.

As Lead Narrative Designer within the core team of a mobile project under development, you will be involved in writing and designing non-linear dialog in a new-genre production. In close collaboration with the lead game designer, you will ensure that the structure and tone of the narration are consistent with the Game Director’s vision. To do so, you will need to take ownership of the vision, then place yourself in the position of editor to better share this vision with a team of 2 to 5 Narrative Designers.

Dynamic and committed, you enjoy a challenge, are proactive and would be a driving force in the team.

To succeed in this position as Lead Narrative Designer, you will come from a background in video games, cinema, theatre or journalism and have experience in writing naturalistic dialog.

Finally, as a manager and very good communicator, you will lead and supervise the team of Narrative Designers, and will be committed to gearing your knowledge to the specific needs of the project. Your clear enthusiasm will support and optimize the efforts of your team, in close collaboration with the Game Director, Lead Game Designer and Producer.

• Expertise in writing dialog.
• 2 - 5 years’ experience.
• You have significant management experience.
• Great curiosity and general cultural awareness beyond video games.
• Positive professional attitude combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A keen interest in humanities would be an advantage.
• Written English.

Contract type

Fix Term Contract of 8 months approximately. Could be extended in a permanent contract
